民主行动党砂拉越古晋国会议席候选人张健仁以9952张多数票胜选，他的得票是22901张。

The victory in Bandar Kuching is just super! The whole sarawak BN focus their attack on him, wanted to get rid of the ONLY opposition in sarawak, but PEOPLE overpower the BN's might. The BN even tried to stop people from attending his ceramah by road blocking. But the DAP supporters parked a distance and walked a distance just to attend the ceramah to show their support. Victory to Kuchingites, victory to Sarawakians, victory to all Malaysians.
